Festool sanders are part of the Festool System of integrated power tools, dust extractors, storage units and accessories. This equipment is designed to seamlessly work together for a more efficient, comfortable and portable workshop. Festool tools are designed to solve workplace challenges and are built tough. The Festool Rotex RO 90 FEQ Multi-Mode Sander (571823) features 4 machines in one easy-to-use, compact unit. It has a 3.5-inch (90mm) round pad and is a powerful rotary sander. It's also a random orbit finish sander and a rotary polisher. By twisting the rotary dial and changing the pad, it becomes the only Rotex sander that can be used as a detail sander. It works in tight corners and eliminates the need for hand sanding or additional tools.
Included in the package is a StickFix sanding pad, power cord and SYS 3 Systainer organizer.
- Triple-mode, quadruple function - Aggressive and finish sander, polisher and detail sander, you get it all with the RO 90 DX.
- Protection - Equipped with front edge protectors, the RO 90 protects the work piece while protecting the pad. The onboard electronics also protect from thermal and current overload.
- Tough - Who says small can't be rugged? The RO 90 is designed and tested for the toughest conditions. Even the all metal gearbox is sealed from dust and debris.
- Fastfix pad change - Tool-free pad design allows you to quickly transition between pads, minimizing downtime.
- MMC electronics - Electronic controls deliver soft-start, step-less variable speed control, constant speed under load, and thermal and overload protection.
- Edge protector - Protective bumper guard allows sanding right up to adjacent surfaces without concern for damage. Also prevents jolting when sanding close to walls or edges.
- Triple-mode - Gear-driven aggressive mode for rapid stock removal or polishing. Random orbit mode for fine sanding, plus Deltex mode for sanding in tight spaces or corners.
- 13' Plug-it Power Cord - Interchangeable, long cord design allows quick switches between tools and provides plenty of cord for movement.
- Dust extraction - Jetstream design delivers highly efficient dust removal, resulting in cleaner air, better finishes, and longer abrasive and pad life.
