Freestanding Straight Edge Reference Simplifies Machinery Adjustment

The unique vee-groove profile on the base edge of the SERX gives your tool a solid footing, while maintaining a clear view of any high or low spots in the surface. Machined to a tolerance of .0015" per foot, they're perfect for checking your table saw for flatness, making sure your jointer tables are parallel, setting up your router table and any other machinery alignment job you might face.

While the base of the SERX makes it a great tool for checking machinery, Woodpeckers didn't stop there. It laser engraves a bright white bar along the bottom edge that highlights low spots. The graduated edge is beveled at 30° to get the markings right down next to your material. The major fractions are called out and the full inches are highlighted, making this a very easy scale to read. Woodpeckers hold the engraving to a tolerance of .004" total accumulated error over the full length of the scale. That's about 1/10 the width of a really sharp pencil markspread out over the entire length of the SERX.

Like all Woodpeckers products, the SERX Straight Edge Rules are precisely machined and carefully inspected in its Strongsville, Ohio facility just south of Cleveland.
